Just want to know the cheapest way to get and stay there for a few days. Doesn't have to fast ride and good hotel. By the way I live in America so I don't need to go by plane.

2 cheap hotels, shared bath Pod Hotel, 230 E. 51st St. (between 2nd and 3rd Aves. Rates start at $89, also Gershwin Hotel, E. 27th St. off 5th Ave. Less than $50. gershwinhotel.com/english/
Just read about them, haven't stayed in them so don't know how good the info is.

Bus is cheapest, there are hostels and hotels w/ shared baths that aren't much $. Check out tripadvisor.com to access which is the best for you. Then, it may be cheaper to book on the hotel/ hostel's own website.
