My hair is black and I have olive skin. I want to dye it lighter, but I dont know what would look right on me. I was also wondering if it would be okay to dye my hair on my own. i was hoping to die my hair like the girl's on this site:

I wouldnt dye it, but, if you're going to, I'd suggest going to a hairstylist and having them do it for you, because having dark hair can make it difficult to get the exact color that you want. And if you dont like it, they'll usually fix it for free.

I would not go to light i have a friend with dark hair olive skin and she went blonde but it was to light for her skin, so go for something not to shocking for now

you can do it but you want to make sure to find out what is the base color for your hair before, since that will relay influence your outcome

dont dye yyour hair. it wont turn because your hair is so dark..... sorry to be so blunt.
