Bleach your hair first until it is nearly white (works best if done professionally) and then achieve your dream hair colour with Directions dye from La Riche. These do fade as well, but it takes forever - and their colours are wonderful! They also have a lovely pink shade called Flamingo Pink. I have tried about 4 different shades of blue, Poppy Red, and Alpine Green - I only needed to touch up the colour every five weeks or so, really low maintenance.
Check their homepage below for a colour chart! ;o)

all the bright hair dyes do the same , they are semi permanent and they fade because the molecules are bigger than with standard colours
you also have to bleach the section of hair first , and not washing it every day helps
i have mine pink or purple, and have the same problem, stargazer i find last the longest though :D
the colour does run for days too so be careful with white clothes and bedding , they end up pink lol

it depends on what you want. If you want to have it permenant, you can bleach your hair using a strong bleach (volume 40, or even 60) then you can use a demi permanant dye on top of that (i used manic panic when i had pink hair, now i'm using punky color, just touch it up every once in a while) you can also get dyes that have bleach in them. but demi permants, use as directed minus bleach (obviously) just be careful using bleach, it damages your hair. once you do any dye job, be sure to use conditioner and any hydrating products on your hair, and don't put it through anything extreme ((exsessive blowdrying etc))

You have to bleach the sections you want pink first and then apply the pink. Sally's Beauty Suppy has kits especially for that. I think one brand is Manic Panic. Be careful though, you can damage your hair and the bleached sections won't hold on to color anymore because the cuticle is shot.

The only way I can think of is to go get it done professionally @ a RA Shop or a Blue Vanilla. Look for tattoo parlers or peircing studios that do hair as well. A normal salon probably wont have that color.
If all else fails, ask a professional.

Go to your local goth/hippie/new age store. They should have some good colour creams. choose your colour!!!
go home and bleach the section you want as this will give a much more vivid and dramatic result.
Cream will need to be re-applied every week or so as permanant colours of this type are very hard to come by.
good luck!

well u are probably using semi permanent dye, and that lasts about 20 washes, so if u wash it everyday, then thats only about 3 weeks, or it could be temporary and that only lasts a few washes, or just ur not doing it right so go 2 a salon maybe :)

just go for it.
it really depends on your hair type.
i got told pink would fade out of my hair within a month but my pink bit was their and bright for nearly three months.
dont use anti dandruff shampoos as they fade the colours pink and reds

have you thought about coloured extensions instead? They can be a wonderful addition to your hair...our local market has a shop specialising in afro/carribean and other hair types and LOADS of hair additions..it's an amazing place....this way too you could swap and change your colours without damage to your real hair!!
They are cheap and expensive depending on where you get them..check out the eBay link for some ideas.
