Heart palpitations are a sign that you are on either too little or too much of the Levoxyl. Headaches are also a sign that you are on too little or too much Levoxyl. I started out on Levoxyl when I was first diagnosed hypothyroid. It didn't do a thing for my symptoms. I eventually switched to Armour thyroid and I feel so much better.

Do you know what your last thyroid tests were? On Levoxyl, your morning TSH should be below 2.0, closer to 1.0. If its not at that level your symptoms are probably due to not being on enough medication or perhaps you need a medication like Armour that contains both T4 and T3.

Thyroid links below. The more you know, the better treatment you will get.
