Prior to his election, G W said that Texas had the highest in the nation of children ranked in the top 10 percent on thier high school tests. We found out later that he was way off and in fact, Texas ranked in the bottem 25 percent nationwide. Why did he say this????

The answer is obvious. After the Bush administration took over roughly 7 years ago, they took along with them all the smart students. Then they realized that they were too smart for the Bush administration to even understand and make effective decisions, and sent them all scrambling to Afghanistan and Iraq. Now, Texas have lost a generation of smart people and is considered the dumbest state.

Or he got the Texas results confused with their neighbor, Mexico.

Because the TX schoolchildren who post on Yahoo Answers know that the correct form of the word is the contraction "they're," and that the possessive is spelled their, not thier.

Yeesh! Why do some people question EVERYTHING the President says, but NOTHING said by anyone else? What's your source for the President's assertion?

He says this because George Bush is an expert as bs ing. He does it all the time just so he can get some votes and to distract people from the real problems that are at hand.
