Perhaps some more clarification would help. What exactly do you mean by looking for danger.
If you mean something like Evel Kneivel jumping canyons or David Blaine trying to practically drown himself in a ball of water (which was lame and dangerous at the same time, fairly stupid of him I would say), then I would say probably yes there have been a few people. Teddy Roosevelt liked to go hunting the big game (like lions and tigers and bears, oh my), with some fairly primitive weaponry. If Achilles (the Greek warrior) existed, he was known for being fond of the fight. He would step into some foolishness on the battlefields and take on up to ten people at one time.
If on the other hand you mean like going to war or something like that, then definitely there have been people. War (provided you win) is one of the best ways to get power. You just take what you want (oil, land, women, etc.) and destroy whatever you don't. You don't waste anything in producing/drilling out the materials you want, you simply take it from others. And with the proper use of propaganda, you can convince others you were doing it to protect them from evil; which means they will accept the danger of going to war to fight that evil (whether the other side is evil or not). They believe they are doing it to protect themselves, their families, their country, or to better humankind; so they are willing to take on danger to do this.

I dont think all people look for danger , but some certainly seek the adrenaline rush of dangerous situations.
some examples would be -bunjee jumping, Sky diving , shark diving etc.
