i just told the boy i like that i like him. he said he kind of knew already and when i asked if he thought anything could ever happen between us he said 'i dont want to sound bad and upset you but no' he then said 'i have always seen you as a friend' . i thought this was a reasonable answer but i have liked this person for a long time and i have to go into school and see him tomorrow. how do i not make it akward between us but more importantly how do i get over him and advice would be appriciated but please be nice :)

GOOD FOR YOU! It's really cool that you told him how you feel! Now, my advice would be to drift away slowly from liking him. Focus on friends, happy things. That is a reasonable answer. If you have liked him for a long time, then it usually takes you twice the time to get over that person (true fact). I totally understand why you wouldn't want to face him tomorrow. But, it would be best if you face him. Don't make it seem awkward at all! Talk about all of the things that you did before. Hope that helps! And spend a night with your closest girlfriends. Have a girls night out and do everything you like to get over him! Dont even think about him. It helps to talk about it! Hope this helps! -Rayna

It's okay to grieve the loss, but what I would do - you're so young and full of potential - I know I'm not your mother - sorry - but take that energy and think of something that you'd dream of doing or being. Maybe you'd like to become a figure skater or a swimmer or an artist - I don't know what's in your heart but take a hobby or passion and take all of that energy and put it into that instead of this boy - who knows you could become an Olympic athlete!

Its gonna be a ltttle wierd so don't get all freaked out if everything doesn't seem normal...just give it time and try not to think about it too much..seriously try not to think about it..

i think you should just let it go and avoid talking to him, be nice and try to be normal but avoid anything that will make you feel uncomfortable, just be cool and try to not get all nervous when you see him
