Which one is right?
1. If it were closer, I would come.
2. If it was closer, I would come.

Which?
1.Either of them is fine.
2.Either of them are fine.

1. The Raiders got beat yesterday.
2. The Raiders got beaten yesterday.

Last question, I know you're supposed to say "you and I" instead of "you and me", but what about "me and you"? Is that correct in some situations?

With the word "if" you would use "were".
You would say: "Either of them is fine. "Either" is singular.
In the third sentence you would use "beaten", but the sentence itself would be more fluent if you would say: The Raiders were beaten yesterday. "Got" is generally considered to be cumbersome, therefore unacceptable if another more satisfactory word can be substituted.
To be correct grammatically, you would NEVER put yourself first; thus, you would not say/write "me and you", plus, "me" is never used as a subject; only "I" is permitted.
I hope that the above is helpful to you...

If it were closer, I would come.
Either of them is fine.
The Raiders were beaten yesterday.

You say "you and I" if that part of the sentence is the subject, but you would say "you and me" if it's in the predicate. You never say "me and you." Always put the other person before yourself. If ever in doubt, just take out the other person and say the sentence to yourself. If you would say "I," then it's "you and I" if you were to say "me," then it's "you and me."

If it were closer, I would come. RIGHT
If it was closer, I would come. RIGHT

Either of them is fine. RIGHT
Either of them are fine. WRONG

Neither of the Raiders statements are correct. It would be correct to say that they "were beaten".

You would never say me and you. "I" or "me" always comes at the end. Usually, "you and I" is correct, but there are occassions when "you and me" is correct. However, "me and you" is never correct.

Neither. Instead, you could say, "The Raiders were beaten yesterday".

I think you could use "you and I" and "me and you" interchangeably.

It Was Or It Were

Just check singular vs. plural. Example: 'it' indicates singular, so 'was' is the right choice. (He was...vs. they were...)

is = singular
are = plural
