yes your boyfriend and you would have to pay back all the monies given to the foster parents well he was in foster care just because hes in foster care dont mean parental rights stop there , the only wauy u wont have to pay is if u r not the bioligical mother , the real mom and dad will have to pay , thsi is the states way of getting moneys back from parents who cant take of there children properly and allows the state to be able to care for children that really need it . the longer te child is in place ment the more it will cost the boyfriend if the child get well the foster parents get 300 a month for thechild then the boyfriend will be obligated to pay that amount back plus interest if hes not working , on top of that a child support lawyer may contact him phone or other wise and set up payment arrangments if the payment are even a day late expect income tax to be held to take out the money owed , its a pain i know my hubby and i went through it when my daughter lived with her aunt well we got our chit together , it took 15 to 18 months for us to do it , they attached his pay along with his income tax return till it was paid off they may have him pay it back after the child is back with mom or him , no matter who has care of the child he and his x will have to pay it back a good part of it will fall on him sence hes working and she may not be , if the child is in foster care and mom was reciving afdc for the child his support payment will go to pay that back so his best bet is to keep paying and keep a record of how much he sent and when and to where , u do not have to pay the support to the foster parents unless oredered by the judge , sence mom dont have the child and he dont either her may want to talk to the ones who ordered the child suport to see what he can do or should do , as for finding the wearabout of the son u need to contact the county in which the mom lived in and contact there social services department and let them know hes the father of so and so and the moms name is so in so ghood luck

YEAH he has to pay support, foster home or not. even if he never choses to see his/her child.
otherwise, taxpayers do. state and federal government are tired of paying for people kids, so they passed stronger laws to make people pay for their kids.
no getting out of child support, ever.

Yes you do,because you are a non-custodial parent and the state has power of attorney over the child.

foster parents recieve money from the state, so it only seems fair that the biological parents pay that money back

YES!~ I BELIEVE U HAVE TO PAY IT TO THE COUNTY HE/SHE IS IN BECAUSE THE FOSTER CARE GETS MONEY FROM THE COUNTY FOR CARE AND THEY MAKE BOTH PARENTS PAY SUPPORT TO THE COUNTY

If it's in a foster home, I don't think you have to. I'm pretty sure you do if it's with a foster family.
