You could have trapped a nerve in your shoulder. See your doctor ASAP and get it checked out

Sounds like you may have a pinched nerve in your neck, causing what is called dead arm. Sometimes baseball pitchers get this affliction through repetitive throwing motions. I had it a while back, and recieved injections of a steroid directly into my spine, and the pain, and numbness went completely away. If I were you, I would definitely get checked out by a doctor.... Good luck, Stevo.

perhaps youve had pressure on it , sat awkward or been leaning on it ??
could be nerve damage but would have thought youd known why if that was the case .
could be repetitive strain , do you work on a manual machine ?
go to the docs and get it sorted if its still the same tommorow , maybe take some ibrufen to take down any internal swelling , and releive the pain , good luck hope its better by morning .x

Sounds like one of two things could be a rotator cuff impingement or Cervical Radiculopathy?? You should see a MD to get a script for Physical Therapy. If you need a good Ortho MD or PT let me know? Good Luck

This sound potentially very serious. If you haven't had a evaluation by a doctor go now. It could be sign of a stroke, a blood clot to the arm or other serious problem.

How can you type, or are you left handed! No in all seriousness get it checked out by a doctor, i don't want to worry you as like many things it can be something simple, but it is also a symptom of a stroke or heart attack.

Could be nerve damage or a blood clot, I would go to emergency. If it's a blood clot and your arm is without circulating blood and oxygen for too long you could lose your arm.
