Depending on what and how much you told her, I could see why she would freak. Especially if you've never opened up quite like that before. I think it's always important in a relationship to keep communication open and make it a 'safe' environment so that you both feel you can share feelings without the other getting offended or hurt. Otherwise things will fester and all come out eventually in an ugly manner. It might not always be what you want to hear, but once you gain perspective, you may find a way to work out the solution.
