The two naval ships off the coast are they still there ? I am sure they are . That isn't an invite to tea I am sure .
Between Israel and America it seems that one or the other will attack and soon.
What do you think and who will actuall "pull the trigger" and who will it be that is the back up just in case.
Will Israel go after them and risk a multi front war ? Will America go ?
Or is America so bankrupt and it's military so thin that all of this is no more than sabre rattleing by a spent nation?

Yes they are nothing like America that jails people without charge in another nation and then torures them only to pass laws that make it imposible to prosecute those who torture civilians .
America the only nation in the history of man to drop an atomic weapon on a civilian poulation etc etc has nothing in common with Iran and is right to lecture Iran on sainity and human rights issues.

Centurion...
Recently?
They have purchased over a billion dollars in Russian made anti aircraft and surface to air missles over the space of 5 years and are very close to launching thier own military communications satilites .
They are a threat - to Israel mostly and to the allies therof . The thing that backs the US off I think is they unlike most nations in the world can fight back and hard.
Go into Iran and millions of Americans die through ground assaults in Iraq and terror drops in America etc.
And you know whatever happen to the US happens to Canada (ussually to a smaller degree) so what ever reaction the US has to this will draw us into to the frey .

I don't know if he will but I think he definitely should. Iran is a huge threat to just about everyone who's not like minded. They have already admitted they are pursuing and will continue to pursue a nuclear agenda, and have recently purchased Russian missiles.
EXCELLENT question by the way.
They purchased Russian BM-25 missiles from N. Korea in late 2005 or early 2006. A regular BM-25 has a range of about 2500 kilometers but the ones they got from N. Korea, the Koreans (with the help of the Russians) had modified to boost it to a range of 4000 km. Yes, in all likely hood Israel would be the FIRST target but the BM-25 was originally designed for launch off a sub-marine but a freight ship could be easily modified with a launch tube and blast channels to launch the weapon. That puts just about anyone in their range, if a trade ship were commandeered and modified. No one would ever see it coming, including the US and Canada.
One other thing, they "denied" having purchased cruise missiles from the Ukraine in mid 2006 but if they had confirmed that purchase it would be really difficult to continue to deny that there nuclear program is strictly for civilian purposes.

I would say the use of nukes would be HIGHLY unlikely. Campaigners and other Anti-war protesters would overwhelm the decision to use nuclear warfare because of the risks to health of both Human, animal and plant life.
I think it is likely ground warfare will be in place for a majority of the time. Air to ground warfare may also occur if there are any threats to troops such as tanks or military strongholds.
Tactically thinking, positioning naval vessels near to the threat is a "just incase" measure. If Iran were to try launch air to ground attacks or even long range seige's then the vessels would be able to act defencively by neutralising the threat.
Is america bankrupt? Far from it. America is one of the countrys that doesnt sell most of its recources. They use most of their metals from the ground to build up their army. They are also financially strong.
In my oppinion, America's tactic is BRUTE FORCE. With this in mind, and the eyes of the E.U and other major players in the world watching americas moves, its likely that america will NOT pull the trigger first.

We will continue our current policy of diplomatic and economic sanctions.
The media likes to hype and sensationalize war scares because it generates ratings. However the truth of the matter is that we have chosen economic sanctions as a 'silent weapon.'
Iran's oil revenues are dropping because they cannot recapitalize their oil industry without outside investment which is currently being blocked by the US. Soon they will not be able to afford a nuclear weapons program.
However - if Iran fires the first shot, then the war will consist of a week of air strikes.

Iran is asking to be glassed. This whole nuclear proliferation thing is going to get a lot of these loud-mouthed, less-economically-sound countries into serious trouble. It's all fun and games till millions at a time are glowing in the dark.

IMO, Iran will make the first military move.....
They'll deny it, of course, and blame it on Israel. More Pallywood.
I got your 'sabre rattleing' right here, hater.

the US is not alone, we have many allies, we are in several positions around the world to counterattack, we have also millions of reserves... many of the US allies against terrorism are england, france, russia, japan, germany, italy... as you can see, only uncivilized regimes are living in poor countries and creating problems out there... In iran, it will happen the same thing as in Irak... I could bet 10000000000 dollars, that would happen
