Being a mom is the hardest thing to do, and it doesn't stop! But I'm sure you know just when you're breaking, crying and at your limit, just a look from one of your kids makes it all 110% worth it :) Hang in there, they will get older and easier before you know it.

You need to spend some time alone. If you're married have your husband take the kids for a little while. If you're not married, try doing a co op. Get a couple of your friends to share baby sitting with you. I have two friends and we each have the same amount of children. This is what we do. Every week from 7-9 number 1 and 2 will drop their kids off at number 3's house. The next week 1 and 3 drop their kids off at number 2's house. The next week 2 and 3 drop their kids off at 1. It's the greatest thing in the world! You can use this time to go on a date, or just go home and put your feet up! It's awesome!

I have a three year old daughter and recently adopted my 5 cousins. The key is to have at least one hour a day by yourself or doing something for yourself. When the kids are napping use that time to nap too, or take that time to write a blog, or read a book. I usually give the small ones activities to do in the house while I do laundry. Also what really helps is that children NEED to run around outside. Bundle them up if you have to but after a few minutes of playing they are usually calmer and you will have an easier time with them in the house later.
A schedule is a must. You have a certain time to play, eat, go to the library and schedule your daily errands around these times. If you know the kids act up after lunch do not go to walmart after lunch. Do it before and carry snacks in your bag to calm them until lunch. I do a bag lunch at the park so when we get back it is to the toilet and bed, and they are ready.

I totally understand. Invite a friend over sometimes if you can. They will see humor in situations when you can't. Time for yourself is so important. Relish your shower time. Read books or watch tv (at least for a little while) before bed to give yourself wind down time. I do not have patience, either..

Set aside a time for them and a time for you. Maybe get a babysitter for a couple hours and take a walk or do something for yourself!
