For fuel economy the trailblazer will be better but the 4X4 system on the Jeep is better than the Chevy. Go with the Jeep!

I am going to be straight out honest with you, I won't buy either. I had a Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and it was soooo slow and had absolutely no power whatsoever going up hills and since I live in Northeastern PA you need something with power and that is good in the winter time. It was great in the Winter, I just leased a Toyota Rav 4 limited, half the price of my jeep which was 6 yrs old, half the amount spent now in gas, and last but not least, the Rav4 with a 4cylinder engine has way more power than my Grand Cherokee had by far...good luck

I have a 2001 grand cherokee with the V6. I cant say it gets the best gas milage in the world but with a good foot you will get decent (around 15-17 in the city). They power is plenty for me. Last but not least, jeeps own all in offroading. I can make it through stuff in my stock jeep that my buddies trucks with lifts cant make it through. The V6 in jeeps in a bulletproof engine too. My brother has a V6 in his and it has gone over 220000 miles without a hitch. too much stuff goes wrong on chevys.

I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo v6. It has almost 200,000 miles on it and it is still running great. It has good power and gets about 20 miles per gallon.

I guess Chevy depreciates faster than Jeep. I personally like the Grand Cherokee. Either or you will spend big money is gas in both vehicles in the long run.

As long as it says Jeep on it, your good. Anything that says blazer or trail blazer, prepare for having a jeep pull you out of mud holes.
