Are you whinning or is he? If he can't hack it, they need to send the little baby home so can get a top dollar job at McDonalds. I hate to break it to you, but hearing tests are conducted prior to going to basic training.

Ingrown toenails are not perment heal up quickly and are brought on by poor foot care.
The marines needs people. If he took the hearing test 3 times he wants to be in, support him.

Hearing screening is done PRIOR to entering boot camp. Too bad about the missing toenails. Did you realize that other Marines and Military have lost arms and legs? Be thankful that he has only lost toenails. Sounds like someone has been whining.

Be thankful he's getting the care he needs. When my daughter came home from Iraq the first time, her feet were a mess, from wearing those heavy combat boots all the time. Our soldiers go through alot more than you'll ever know but still are very determined. My prayers and love go out to every one of them!!

What's your question? A Marines feet are his most valuable assets, would you rather he lived in pain? As for the hearing, did he pass? Have you ever taken one of those test, those little beeps are damn hard to hear.

Well in the military you have to be able to hear.....glad he passed it. The rigorous training these people go through put strains on the body especially the feet. He'll be off light duty when his toes heal..he'll be fine. They are just doing their job....
