maybe ask her if she still wants to go, maybe shed rather go with you than go alone or not go at all, maybe she has another date, in which case, you do whatever you want to do.

It is a long while before prom time comes around, you may not even be able to stomach one another by then. So just wait and see what happens by then.

Most definitely don't let an ex stop you from having fun go with a girl that's a friend of yours or just go with some buds don't let an ex hold you back
