The knee joint is the biggest joint in your body ,
it takes your body weight and is flexible in many planes ,
But there are limits !!!!

you are asking a lot of your knee joint, by sitting in that way .

the pain is a complaint from your knee, that you are misusing it !
Never ignore pain,
it is your body's way ,of alerting you that you are doing it harm

Try to sit in a way, that does not over flex your knee

If the pain persists go and see your doctor

I do it aswel... i often get it quite bad because ive got bad knees anyway but i thought it was due to the joint not getting enough blood, it can't do too much damage if they make the children sit like it in primary school...

I think your body has answered that question for you. If it hurts stop doing it.
