You're going to need a HS diploma or a GED to become any kind of nurse or EMT.
Your employment without a diploma or GED is really limited. It's almost impossible to find a good job without these minimum qualifications.
There's lots of good adult GED programs available.

You will not become a nurse without a GED. To become a RN you are looking at usually 2 years of college. Becoming an EMT is easier as far as requirements and schooling.
Sorry to be negative but it is unlikely you will get a "good" job without more school.

Get a job as a CNA at a nursing home, this is a crappy job but will pay the bills while you take some adult ed and get the diploma, then some night classes at a community college to get your RN,
all the time makeing ok $ and gaining experience in the same field with no diploma.

It is next to impossible to get a good job without a HS diploma. Employers figure if you are too stupid to get a diploma you are too stupid to do a good job. I tend to agree, but seeing that you want a job in 2 highly illiterate states you might have a slight chance. No way on the nurse or emt position though.

i suggest you work towards getting your GED, as those, and most jobs, require it or high school,,,,,,,, contact your local library or vocational school, they should have information about adult education,,,,,,,, its most always free, you just pay a small (around $25) fee to take the actual GED...... after that,,,, for both nursing and EMT you will need training,,,,,, your community college will have info on the nursing and most likely the EMT jobs, or call or go by your local ambulance company or hospital and ask what the training is,,,,, most are always happy to talk to interested people

Then get yourself back to school and earn your HS diploma or GED. Then it's off to college for at least a 2-year degree.

Go back to school. It's hard enough to find a job without a College Diploma, it's going to be nearly impossible unless you want to be flipping burgers.

Well you need to get a GED. Just about any city offers that. Then you could go to a community college for a two-year program.
