Depending on the breed of dog Not until they are 2 or 3 years of age. Then before the breeding vet visit to have hips xray and health cert. Why do you want to breed your dog? is is a grand champion or will you dog better the breed?
Do some research, then take you dog to the vet and get him snipped! Back yard breeding is a horrible thing and also this is why the pounds are over flowing with dogs.
Please get your dog fixed and do not add to the hugh populations that are already in the pounds and looking for good homes!

When they have finished their championships and passed all the health testing recommended by the breed's parent club. For most dogs that's at least 2 years of age.

If you're asking that question you need to get your dog neutered.
You should be a licensed and certified breeder. There are THOUSANDS of dogs that need homes - pure breeds and mutts and HUNDREDS that are being put to sleep every day!!
Why add to that? Don't add to the pet population. Neuter you dog.
