very much a subjective question, but for me - absolutely, positively yes! I grew up with them, but did not have a cat when I left my parents house until recently - now I would not dream of living without one.

Yes, they are so affectionate, and good company too. It is nice that they are so independant, you don't need to baby them like dogs. Just feed and clean their litter, and they'll come to you if they want attention.

sorry, but i don't think they are the best pets. I assume you have one and that is fine with you some people can't have cats around.
