God has nothing to do with anti-depressants. There are lots of reasons for people to take them. I am one of them. And there hasn't been a day in my life where I didn't believe in God. If the anti depressant is going to help you ,why would God stop that? He wouldn't! I know for a fact....

It depends--why was the man prescribed anti-depressants? If a reasonable doctor prescribed the pills along with a holistic therapy/lifestyle management system, then I would think that God would want that person to take the pills. The God I believe in supports the use of medication to treat medical problems--and many many forms of depression are partially biochemical and NEED treatment.

No, that's a poor reason to believe in any God. If someone is depressed, believing in a deity is not going to treat the depression. Said person needs to seek help. Nothing wrong with anti-depressants if you truly need them.

Nothing wrong with anti-depressants if you need them. I know a lot of Christians who are on them so believing in god doesn't seem to be a cure for depression and anxiety.
