A chiuaua (however you spell it)
A manchester terrier
A rat terrier

or a mutt!

The coloration is like a min pin but the face seems to me to be more terrier. But not manchester, their noses are funny and not at all like the picture. The hair seems more coarse and long than the min pins I've seen... does anyone know if they come in long-haired, or wire-haired or something like that? The face reminds me of a floppy-eared chihuahua. (no thats not a technical name, i don't think)

That is a super cute baby. He looks like chihuahua. Min pins and Manchester Terriers have sharper features and finer hair.
But I have been wrong before

Judging by the face alone, it looks to be a chihuahua/ miniature pinscher mix, but I'd like to see the whole dog.

Well I definitely don't think she's a full Mini Pinscher. Her snout is too short to be full Mini Pin. She looks like a chihuahua mix to me. I agree with others who say Mini Pin/Chihuahua mix.
Whatever she is, she's really cute ! :)

That's too hard to say. It could be either breed by just looking at his face. Without seeing the whole body it could even pass for a chihuahua.

we had a chihuahua once that look just like that and l would think that this picture is a chihuahua. some chihuahua comes in this color and are starting to get more popular
