My sister was five years older then me and was just as mean to me as my parents were. Still don't know to this day what her problem is. Just spend more time with a good friend .......

Maybe your parents think they are giving you space. It won't be the first time parents haven't understood what their teens want and need. To be honest, most of the teens I have seen don't want to be around their parents and will do whatever they can to avoid them. If they don't invite you try saying "hey, can I come too?" Also, teen years are really stressful as is, so try to work on your temper. Count to ten when your brother or sister irritates you. Sometimes being a hot-head can spoil the fun for others.

I know what you are going through. My family treated me the same way. I am the oldest of 3. I have 2 brothers younger than me. As kids my parents treat us all the same. When we got
to high school that was another story. Now remember , I am the oldest. My brothers had later curfews than me. They got away with alot stuff than me. My Daddy always treat me as the baby in the family. When it came to dating, my Daddy did not like that ideal of his little girl dating. My brothers always made plans to do things and never ask me if I want to join them. Show them you don't need them. Show them you can fun without them. Don't worry, it will get better.

I think you should tell your parents how you feel. I felt that way when I was younger and sometimes I still do. But you should start to notice that your parents have something in common with each of your siblings. So don't worry about it that much. Maybe try looking at yourself and see how you treat them.

Its sounds like your family isn't the problem its probably you. Stop the whole me thing and focus on how you can be part of your family. Once you start thinking about others they will start to think about you.

Life is sometimes unjust and harsh.Try to be your best friend and find the strength in yourself (not an easy task, but necessary one)
