it's when we shiver or shudder for a few seconds and we quote"someones just walked over my grave"....where does the expreshion come from and why do we do it when the room temperature is warm

I think the expression is a superstitious way of explaining exactly what you are asking - why do we shiver for no reason? I've heard other variants, such as "a ghost walked through me".

I don't believe the phenomena is related to temperature. It is probably an involuntary muscle tremor or myoclonus similar to the sensation of falling we occasionally get when falling asleep. This happens when there is a slight imbalance in certain neurotransmitters in the brain. It's a sort of body hiccup, if you like.
