What is the difference between us and God?
He has innumerable potency, and one of them is the pleasure potency.
He always enjoying in company with millions of His girlfriends or playing with His innumerable cowherd boy friends or somebody. This is enjoyment. He does not need to work, even though He is the Supreme controller, He does no need to do it directly, He is aloof from this material Universes, His different energies are working and controlling everything.
We have to work. If we try just to enjoy, then we'll starve to death. But God is not like that. That's why He is God.
What ever He desire, immediately is fulfilled by His pleasure potency. Whatever we desire, we have to work very hard, and some times we never get it.
And because He is always engaged in transcendental bliss, we cannot understand how He is enjoying His full opulence.
And He is doing all this eternally not just one day.

One day is as a thousand years. paul said.
before the first day of creation he said all things that were created were Good.
So one day he goes through the lives all mankind and takes notes and writes down times and dates and watches even the sparrows when they fall from the sky.
Another day is the day of judgment. When everyone will be judged.
another day is teaching the angels how to become creators, but maybe only the holiest of holies get that honor by being called and chosen.
Another day he will send his angels to harvest the souls of men.

but according to LDS theology Jesus says it is his work to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man. I think that takes the entire thousand years in the reign of the millenium.

it definitley means what dispensation of time you are referring to. right now Jesus is on or near his thrown on the right hand of God, but any instant he can come like a thief in the night and visit the faithful, or even the most sincere. He comes and plants seeds of faith and in my case he came one morning in a visitation of glory.

Well God goes to bed around 9pm (that's why more sin happens at night) and he wakes up around 6am for those who like morning prayer, he makes his coffee and listens to all the prayers, checks his email, and then takes his morning shower. Then around noonish he picks all the lottery winners for the day. He then makes his way to the nursery and hands out talents and abilities to all the babies that will be born in the next 24 hours. After that, he goes for a walk with all the dead people that want time with God and he makes them all feel good they are dead. He blesses 3 people to come back with him to have them rub his feet, rub his back, and cook him a little dinner. He watches the evening news and goes to bed.

I hesitate to share this but I feel moved by the Spirit to say this.I can't give you a day in the life of God.I think He has already done that for you but you refused to listen.I would strongly recommend you start seeking God now and perhaps by chance He might show you mercy and call you to repentance. " No man can come to me , except the Father which hath sent me draw him:.." John6:44.What this is saying is you can't come to God just whenever you want to.

From my experience at creating, if the creation is not the way I want it, I keep tinkering with it until I get it the way I want it. I've got tons of evidence that goes back thirty or so years that He is doing just that. Check out what happened on 6-3-77 at the Led Zeppelin show in Tampa Fl. It is on the internet. That rain cloud followed my wife and I down from Brooksville, Fl. We were late. We only heard one song, "Nobody's Fault But Mine."
It wasn't until thirty years or so later, I realized it was the same date a meek little brother (me) killed an aggressive big brother, whom I absolutely worshipped, by not THINKING things through first. I didn't pull the trigger, but I didn't ask myself, "what would jesus do"? I suffered for a looooong time because of this mistake. I in fact called my brother to a family fight. He was the baddest dude in this town. flaming red hair and a temper to match. Fast, too. I idolized him.
I don't believe there are any true followers of Christ on this planet, yet. to follow someone, one must interpret them correctly. As an amateur linguist, I don't believe anyone is. Consider this:
I saw a beast rise out of the sea, 2,000 years BEFORE Darwin did. I knew he was made of carbon, atomic number 666. I saw another beast come out of the caves and drop bombs, and it WAS NOT cave bears!
I also knew the chosen one would have red hair, tiny moles on his thighs, a sharp two-edged sword coming out of his mouth,(if you got a problem with me calling humans beasts, there is now a mountain of evidence they are germs, and this is much worse, he who was first has truly become last, you don't get no laster that being a germ, destroying your host that gives you life) a shirt dipped in blood,(I gave my brother mouth to mouth while blood was pouring out of his mouth, and it got all over my shirt). Hell, the dead sea scrolls even describe my education! Everyone in this neck of the woods say "You aren't the one", but they don't have one shred of evidence that I am not. I got tons that I am. As an amateur epistemologist, linguist, psychologist, etc. I say absolute proofs DO NOT exist. I believe the pythagorean theorem to be true, but I can't prove it to some minds. I can't prove to a young child that 2x2=4. some minds cannot understand the proof, some will not, and there is a fine line twixt the two, I'm not going there.
As I said, many, many other things have happened to me that tells me He is still tinkering with His creation. too many to mention in this space. My only begotten son believes I'm the one, but the idiot still disobeys. I believe humans are going to find out that morality and true intelligence are one and the same!
