It helped one of my cats a great deal. It took a few weeks to really start working for her, but after that it really seemed to make her feel a lot better. I just mixed it in a small portion of canned food for her to be sure she ate the whole dose, and then fed her the rest of her meal.

Another thing that may help is veterinary acupuncture, if you can find someone good in your area. I found a vet who used laser acupuncture on my cat (no needles), and it helped her tremendously. When I took her home after her first session, she started chasing her tail (hadn't seen her do that in years!) and I started finding her up on top of furniture and in windowsills again. I couldn't afford to get it done really often, but an occasional session (along with the daily Cosequin) made a big difference for her.

Hi, I haven't used it on my cat, but my dog has been on it for about 6 months and we have seen a dramatic improvement in her mobility. I would assume the same would go for cats. FYI I ordered our refill online to save lots of money. Check out this website for initial orders or refills. http://www.discountpetmedicines.com/
Good Luck.
