What happens when a muslim pretends they are so prayerful because they pray five times a day? (few do.) We CHristians are told to pray unceasingly...we are ALWAYS and everywhere to have prayers on our lips for those in darkness to come to the LIght of Christ. The American churches are telling Christians we will be taken out before the tribulation, but Jesus clearly says to His disciples, AFTER you have undergone all these things, then He will return. I believe the Pastors in America are keeping the believers asleep to the shortness of time, and they give false hope that we will not endure hardships and plagues, famines, the sword, and persecution. The time is upon the Church and it is almost the day when no man can work.

But they keep lying to us, letting the Church sleep, looking for comfort, prosperity, and all those promises when we have not done our conditional part yet, and forsaken ALL to follow HIM. If we do not pick up our crosses, we are not worthy to be His Disciples

I agree. The vast majority of American Christians are lulled to the soothing doctrines that shift at key points of the Biblical doctrine and they justify those shifts with a passion.

It seems many are caught up in a deeper passion for their denomination as truth instead of the Biblical directive as truth. In light of this (and Ive told people this) what do they do? They come back with.., "I am proud o be Lutheran" or I am proud to be Baptist! And I'll never change for anybody!"

It would be sad to miss the opportunities we are afforded through Christ Jesus all because we would rather cling to the misconceptions that abound in sectarian (diverse denominations) division.

Yes THE Gospel, has been cluttered with an Americanized Gospel. The Pretribulation rapture is a misconception among many misconceptions that will swallow many Christians whole.

I've spoken with many Christians from all over the world (usually in a chatroom) and it does seem that Christians in America follow a different type of Christianity on general doctrines. Those in Europe seem to be more laid back and easier to discuss these things with. While, if you so much as breath that you disagree with something, an American will rip your head off (metaphorically speaking)

It is interesting that you mention this. I would like your reference scripture. DO NOT just say something on here without citing where it came from. (The American churches are telling Christians we will be taken out before the tribulation, but Jesus clearly says to His disciples, AFTER you have undergone all these things, then He will return.) Cite the Book, Chapter, and Verse(s) if you please.
Thanks,

We have not yet resisted unto blood, as the Scripture says. Christians around the world are routinely tortured and killed for their faith. We have not and hopefully never will experience that kind of persecution. I don't think pastors are deliberately lying. I think they are tailoring their message to their audience. We like to have our ears tickled. I think when Christ returns many people are going to be unpleasantly surprised.

There are too many Churches that don't teach the Bible, and too many believers who never open theirs. As for the accuracy of our modern day Bibles, there have been many comparisons to archaeological finds revealing very little deviation, save lack of exact words for translation.

Men and women of God do endure hard times, becuase of Christ sake

Matthew 10:22-And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

Every gospel is "ized" to fit their countries culture.
There are more than one aspect of the chuch, so I wouldn't doubt it, but not all churches worship the same way.
