Maybe this time the question won't be deleted!

Okay, where the heck in the Bible does it say that you will go blind if you masturbate? Would somebody PLEASE quote that verse for me? I've been a true Christian for over 8 years, and in all my time studying the Bible, I have NEVER come across a verse like that!

Furthermore, masturbation is a great way to let out your sexual feelings and thoughts WITHOUT contacting AIDS, STD's, or pregnancy! For women, using dildo's is a perfect way to determine what size penis is satisfactory, and what size is just to small. Yes, penis size matters to women just like boob size matters to men!

So, would somebody please tell me where it says masturbation is wrong? If the Bible DOESN'T condem it like I suspect it doesn't, anybody want to tell me what's actually WRONG with it? Why it's oh-so sinful?

Good stuff loladrewblue, BUT....

You are stretching what those verses are trying to say. They are just telling us to NOT have sex outside of marriage. Just because you are releasing sexual tensions doesn't mean you are actually having sex! When a guy has a wet dream, does he have sex outside of marriage? Can he help having a wet dream? Masturbation is like that: it allows you to release your sexual emotions without actually having sex. God doesn't reserve "feelings and desires" for the bed, he reserves actual SEX for the bed! Read those verses again and tell me where "feelings and desires" are mentioned in reference to sex. The desires mentioned in Colossians 3:5 relate to the 1st Commandment, not sex. Who says sex is my god?

For some people, maturbators like dildo's could be damaging, but for me-a born again believer-my morals are to high to let that happen. Sex isn't just spiritual you know, its very much physical. What's wrong with having physical preferences?

Masturbation is not mentioned at all in the Bible. However please read Colossians 3:5. Stimulating sexual desires while you are still unmarried runs counter to the counsel of God’s Word. The Bible teaches that sexual intimacies should be enjoyed only within the framework of marriage. Hebrew 13:4.

When masturbating, a person is immersed in his or her own bodily self centered sensations. Sex becomes separated from love and is relegated to a reflex that releases tension. But God intended that sexual desires be satisfied in sexual relations—an expression of love between a man and his wife.—Proverbs 5:15-19.

A masturbator may also tend to view the opposite sex as a sex object a tool for sexual satisfaction. Wrong attitudes taught by masturbation thus defile one’s spirit. For good reason then, God’s Word urges: “Beloved ones, let us cleanse ourselves of every defilement of flesh and spirit.”—2 Corinthians 7:1.
