That believes:
- all religions have truth and their holy books etc contain guidance
- we have the answers to the true religion within our hearts already, and simply have to find them, but we get clouded by the views of the world - we know the truth deep within us

Thanks!

It depends on the first statement really, Buddhism believe all religions can contain truth for the individual and guidance to a better life if used correctly, but as for divine inspiration of deities, Buddhists do not go there.

And yes, Buddhists strive for knowledge in this life through meditation and reflection, working to gain a better sense of self and earth. We view this as a better method of gaining self-spirituality than blind faith.

Not preaching Buddhism, as I view all faiths as a pathway to peace if a person does not look down upon other's views and claim theirs as superior.

I don't know if there is a specific religion but I do beleive all holy books contain some truth and guidance. And I do think we have many answers within ourselves already, and the scriptures help us find it, and repent of the world. I am Christian by the way.

Jesus himself condemned the religious leaders of his day. He also taught that you would recognize a religion as the truth by their deeds. Look at the religions of this world. They promote hatred, condone immorality, back politicians, hide pedophiles and teach the traditions of men, not the gospel. The one true religion would be promoting what Matthew 24:14 says. Also, they would show love for all their fellowmen and remain neutral to political involvement just as the early Christians did. They would also put back into the Bible God's personal name, Jehovah. They would also speak with oneness or be unified in their teaching that would only promote what the Bible says. "Truth" is out there. You just have to search, seek, and answer your door when the opportunity of all this knocks.

Wicca holds all those truths to be self-evident. ;-)

From a Wiccan perspective, the Divine is too large to be encompassed within any one faith. All religions are different paths to reach the Divine, and each has its own merits which will appeal to different people.

If one feels called upon to follow a religion at all, it is most desirable to choose a religion that fulfills your personal needs and resonates at the right "frequency" for you, so long as you do not harm others in the process.

personally i believe in a higher power, but it doesn't at all resemble the anthropomorphic deities of most religions. my higher power is the energy that makes up the universe, that cannot be created or destroyed. energy has no personality, it expects nothing from us. it is us. we are made of energy and when we die that energy is transferred to other life forms. that is eternity. energy cannot be created or destroyed, only transferred endlessly between all matter in the universe.
so what religion does that make me?
