Nope. My boyfriend gave me one and I gave him one that was just a silver band engrave on the inside. Because it looks like a wedding band we wear our rings on our right ring finger. I believe I got his at Wal-Mart for about $20.00. Some jewelry stores have bands that go for around $20-$30.00.

No its not weird. Try going to a flea market. Things are pretty cheap there. If there isnt one close to you, then check out smaller jewelry stores around you. You might get a good deal if your buying 2 of them.
