many guys like a girl that needs "rescuing" or that needs them. It is a guy thing.

im 18 too. anyway i've never felt that way so i;m just gonna i means that a guy wants that fairyytale romance where he's the hero and gets the beautiful dame.

It's a guy thing- it makes them feel needed and useful.
When you rescue a damsel in distress, you end up with a distressed damsel. Some men like to think their love can "save" a woman. They're wrong.

The damsel in distress... guys like to be able to rescue a girl and take care of her.. it makes them feel all big and manly and important and strong.

well not all boys will just rescueee you so if u are gonna try don't!! he might not rescu u and u will make a fool out of your self and people will make fun of you but some men will rescu you because they might like you or it will make them feel manly or brave

Its just a confidence boost for guys because they think that if you need to be "resucued" or you need them that makes them more important.
