It only takes one good work: Asking Jesus into your heart to forgive you of your sins.
You not believing in Jesus will not send you to Hell, failure to ask him to forgive your sins will.

We never will be ashamed; we're in the vast majoriy. And God didn't create sin, man did. And no one said you go to Heaven because of good deeds. Only Jehovah's Witnesses believe that in general. I think your main problem, and the main problem of many, is that Christianity demands a certain type of behavior and code you are unwilling to follow. I would suggest before venting your venom on Christians, you actually READ the Bible, just as any book anyone would pontificate on. But you won't do that, will you *wink*. Scared of what it might say?

How did God create sin? Just becuase calling something wicked does not mean you create it. He just made light of the fact that it was wicked.
People find new species all the time, and name them, does not mean they created the new species.
No, doing good deeds is a wonderful thing, but God, being righteous, hates evil deeds, and does not want to be around it. Just like we frown upon unremorseful murderers, and choose not to hang with them. Man is not capable of being righteous, so Godmade a way through His Son, Jesus. That is why He is the only way. Not because you can choose Him and then continue to sin, that is a lie. It is because of that part we cannot change in ourselves, that He intercedes and pleads to the Father on our behalf.
Making light of evil, does not mean you are the cause, create, or condone evil. You cannot seriously believe that?

You do not get to heaven on good deeds. In fact most of the human inhabitants of this planet will never get into heaven. The earth was created for man. We desire to live on this planet earth. Of course, not the way it presently is. Wars, famines, suffering and death...no way. But very soon the earth will be made back into a paradise as was originally intended. God did not create sin, Satan did. He misled the first couple and they believed him. Jesus had to come from the heavens and make-up for what Adam lost for us... eternal life on a paradise earth. We should be very happy that Jesus provided a ransom sacrifice for us so we can gain the paradise earth back.Oh yes, there is no burning hell. Hell is just the common grave of mankind.

For your info, Christians believe Satan created sin, not God. Jesus did not come here to correct sin. He came here to forgive us of sin. But if you don't want to be forgiven then you wont be.
And also,
Christians do believe that you can get to heaven with good deeds. Jesus came for the sinners, not the righteous.

Starting out with a false statement is always a give away that the person does not know what they are talking about.
God never created sins
Sins are a consequences of breaking God's laws and plans for each of us.
Jesus did not come to correct sin He came to pay the price that sin has cost each of us IF we accept that accomplished work of His.

Who choses what is a good deed? I have a different take on heaven - What if heaven & hell are they same place? If one tranes their soul to only enjoy what is said to be "SIN" & the location one finds himself in is devoid of such enjoiments it might be Hell for you to live in. This takes out the victem role for liberals & at the same time puts in accountability.

You better start believing; Jesus' message was to love God and love each other...you can't love each other without doing good deeds.
Jesus didn't come to 'correct' sins. His mission was to free the sinner.
And this thing about 'HELL' is getting you crazy. Only God desides who goes to hell.
So when we going to church?

Needless to say, I can see that you know NOTHING about the Holy Word of God. You will NEVER be saved by good works; only by believing Jesus is our Savior and died for us and by believing that, we will NEVER die. (spiritually). God gave us all the freedom to "choose" and it is your choice NOT to accept him or to be a believer. I have nothing to be ashamed of. And before it's too late for you, I hope you find out more about God's Word before you start condemning it.

He didn't come to "correct" the sins, he came to "die for them".
And why do you need to believe only on the basis of good deeds? Can't God invite into his home whomever he wants?
If you get an invitation to the part of the century (okay, let's make it a rave), are you going to tell them, "I don't think I want to come unless you tell me I have to do good deeds to get in"?
How silly is that?
