You're just freaking out, I don't really see any reason to even be suspicious, but I only know what you've typed... cell phones do act up and mess up calls all the time - my friend even had a cell phone that had a defective battery that could've caught fire... everyone loses signals, the batteries flip out... especially if it's an older cell phone. Don't worry about it, it was probably nothing.

You're being paranoid. Picture this, I'm in a business meeting, and my phone rings. I think, "OH ****!" and work as fast as I can to get the thing out of my pocket and stop it from ringing which means answer/hangup! A client can go from good standing to no standing in a second if you pull a rude move like not turning your phone off during a meeting!
So, moral of the story, don't call your man's cell when you know he's at work. He might just lose a client and get fired!

I agree with Michael K.
Cellphone batteries are very unreliable, if you called him back on his cellphone when you tried the other number then you should confront him about that a little bit. He also may have been doing it since he was talking business. If he makes a habit out of it, tell him you're fed up.

If you heard him talking business why would you question that part of it? Second, if you forget to charge your battery and your waiting for business calls on that phone I would be judicious with who I answered the phone for. However, if he has you saved in his phone he should have known who it was. I think your being paranoid.

If he were to make excuses constantly, I'd say yay. Things do happen, don't borrow unneccessary trouble. Always remember that without trust and faith you have nothing. Cell phones are the second best in causing jealous thoughts, my-space 1st of course.

It is nothing to worry about for now, but to ensure that it doesn't happen again I would go out and buy him a new battery for his cell, then you'll know if he's telling the truth

yes they do....more often than not though it is accidental push of a button, or if he has a flip phone...it answers automatically when you open it, and hangs up automatically if it closes...so if he tried to open it and it slipped shut quickly it would have the same effect...since he was taking business with a guy I am sure he wasn't sneaking around on you..let it go

If he has been honest up to this point i say give him the benefit of the doubt. If cell phones arent charged regularly they will die-turn off the phone when you are using them.

Doesn't sound like he had any reason to hang up on you. And you don't have any reason to doubt him. So I wouldn't worry about it. It doesn't sound like a lie to me. But I'd make sure he bought a new battery.
