Okayy..so my hair is naturally quite frizzy and curly but it doesn't look that great. When i curl it it looks a bit odd and when i straightenit it just looks so boring. I really want to like proper style it sort of wildish and bits sticking out and stuff, make it volumous but not over the top.
thanks!

Use a product called "Porosity Control" to get rid of the frizzies. Use a good, non-alcohol, mouse to "add lift" to your scalp and underneath your hair by the base of the scalp.

Cut it shorter. Sounds like you're ready for a bit of a wild, crazy change ? Go short and buy an industrial size tub of sculpting gel.

Losing length will instantly rid you of the frizzies (I know this from experience)

Short hair is also far more responsive to wild and crazy bits sticking out ... also - get some highlights. They do wonders for changing your look.

P.S Short hair is also easier to do the volume thing with.

Start by using a good shampoo to keep your hair healthy. I use Aussie moist shampoo to keep it soft, and Aussie volumizing conditioner for volume. Then I towel dry a bit, put some spray in leave-in conditioner / heat protectant in my hair, then some straightening balm and volumizing balm by Herbal Essences,

Work it all through my wet hair, blow it dry, then straighten it. The hair dryer will give the volume but the straightener will tone it down- and then you can take some strands and flip it out to make it piecey, spray with a little hairspray.

Sounds terribly complicated now that I typed it out, but I do this every day easily. At least you have something to work with now. I hope it helped.

If your hair is shoulder length, get Fructis Style It works great, I use it to scrunch my hair, then pin it up any way you want and it looks cute/cool.
