I have a butterfly in the small of my back. It's inked in hot colors, green blue and yellow, the body is hot pink. I dont have tribal, instead i have narrow pin lines that almost look like vine work. I am heavily into the beauty of butterflies. I think that you should go with what means something to you. My butterfly is the only thing girlie about me. I have two boys to raise so I teach them the outdoor things and my tattoo and future tattoos will be the only girlie thing about me really. Good Luck!

im thinking of gettign a red rose on my hip or back... it is my birth flower and my grandmas favorite flower is a red rose.. but butterflies, hearts, humming birds, flowers are the typical "girly tattoos"
gunner61306: don't be so ignorant and narrow minded.... you only call it a tramp stamp cause everyone else and their mother calls it that, how about jumping off the wagon and learn that it is just the placement of a tattoo.. it doesn't automatically sterotype people. its a freaking tattoo with significant meaning usually to that person. not cause they want to be labeled as a "tramp". its a fad that will pass just like how if you pierced oen side of your ears of both it menat you were gay.. notice how that was only popular in the late 80's and early 90's?.. this will pass as well...its so lame.. lord...and there are many professional models with tatoos you can use theater make up to cover them! or maybe they are allowed to be all tattooed up cause they're fetish models.

you can make any tattoo girlie, depending on your style. you can get a pic of a butterfly and make it pink and purple...or pretty flowers...i think roses are not so girlie...
tribal tattoos can be girlie, if you use thinner lines...go with something your really like and can enjoy for the rest of your life

don't listen to the closed minded.... besides, she never said she wanted to be a model! lol i have 3 stars on my back, above my bra line and i know other girls with stars in various places. stars are cute and i discovered after i got it that they are a goddess symbol! just a thought. but no matter what don't settle and et something personal.
