you can only have one or the other. Because you will be going home frequently and your permanent address is in florida you dont need to change your drivers liscence. You should also stay a florida voter. I live in Oh and went to school in tennessee, it is the state where you are going to school that determines the laws regarding this. Also look at state income tax, but i think you are better off being a florida resident. When i went to tennessee the police would say when they pulled us over that we had to change our drivers liscences but they really dont care. The courts said nothing of it when my friend had to go for a dui. Do what ever is best for you (considering grad school in georgia start working on becoming a resident now). If you do want to change go to the dmv with your old florida id and that should prevent you from having to retake a drivers exam.

Check with the DMV, but you'll probably have to get a Georgia license. You almost certainly will if you work in Georgia while you're in school.
Usually, when you move to a new state for any period of time, they want you to get a driver's license for that state and surrender your old license.

Drivers Licenses work all over in one area. So if you lived in New Jersey and were moving to California, yes you would. But Georgia and Florida are touching eachother, so no. By chance, are you going to Pensacola Christian? I went to Pensacola School when I was a kid, they have DVDs that they mail you and you watch the classes. It's cool, but strange. I hear the college is really strict; no pants for girls on campus, have to be in bed by 10:00 PM!!!!!!! Girls and boys cant touch eachother or even shake hands. You have to tell a monitor if you are leaving a building. A littel to strict for me.

Generally, your permanent address will still be in your home state, so you will not need a new driver's license. If you actually move there (live there all year long) then you will need to check their job code. No, you can't have two licenses.

I was told no when I went to college. It depends on the state. My state, VA, suspended my license (for failure to notify change of address) when I was in college so I had to get a TN lisence.
Now I paid for my own car insurance. I also wroked while I was inschool. So you may be able to keep yours in FLa

Well in most states you need to change your licence. You can keep your old licence as you are just going to school there.
Check with the state of Georgia but here in Nevada if you are going to school and not living here you can keep your old licence.
