I don't know. He does give us many chances for salvation during our lives and the rewards are great if we believe. He may give one last chance once he reveals himself at the judgement. He may not. I do not want to take that chance.

God gives us a choice while we're here on earth whether or not we want to believe that he sent his son to pay for our sins. It is the free gift of God for us to accept and he says that if you choose not to believe that, then you have doomed yourself to be in hell for eternity. It's not that he is powerless. If you are not a friend of God, then you are an enemy and there is no in between. I do believe that once you are saved, then you are always saved and nothing can ever make God hate you so much to take away your salvation. But no good deeds can get you into heaven, he just asks that you believe.

It is our choice and not His. You reject Him, then be ready for whatever may happen to you and wherever you may be sent.
He may just feel sorry for you but even then He has no emotion to feel that either. God never judge on pure emotions. He is just and He already laid out His conditions. A Blessing for those those who walk the right path and a Curse for those who rejects His Laws. Read the Book of Deuteronomy and Ezekiel. What is the use of FREE WILL he gave us if He still have to worry about where we are heading?
I do not think it is going to be a numbers game on how many go to Heaven or hell but more on the qualities of the few He got. (Honestly though, I do not subscribe to the common belief or notions of hell or heaven.) In that case, it is not necessary to know whether He is powerless to keep us out of hell. The problem should beon how in our own human power should we make use of the Free Will given to us to gain His blessings. We make our own destiny, we choose the road to take on the journey. Only you can save yourself and if others will tell you there is someone who died to save us from our sins, it is yours to believe but I should only make sure that I have done my part which I hope will please my God. If He is not contented with what I did, I will not even complain wherever He may put me because I will only think, it is where I deserve to be according to His judgement.

No, God has no choice.
He cannot or will not allow a being with a sinful nature to enter Heaven.
No, He is not powerless to keep you out of Hell.
That is why He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross, so that your sinful nature might be changed. It is refered to as "being born again". Here is what God says about the matter:
John 3: The Words of Jesus Christ (God in the flesh)
3. "Verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God."
4. Nicodemus saith unto Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?"
5. Jesus answered, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God."
6. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again."
16. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
18. He that believeth on Him is not condemned; but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

If you believe that hell is separation from God, as I do, we are the ones who make that choice. God doesn't force Himself on people. He respects our freedom of choice.

God has set up the Standard
God is sinless and all who dwell with Him must also be sinless
God does not compromise on Holiness if He did He himself would not be just and fair.
Thank God by Jesus we can be holy by faith in the accomplished work of Christ Jesus.
