Not everyone would be interested in what I love, so no. I share it with my family and close friends, and in some online forums, but that's about it. I get a feeling of loneliness when a neighbour or a new friend finds out I'm an atheist and rejects me, but I have to think logically and realize that it's for the best if that's how they feel. That feeling of loneliness doesn't last long, because there are still lots of people in my life who wouldn't do that.

Oh I'm not sure about feeling more lonely. I just assume loneliness is the human condition (makes sense from an evolutionary pov, the species benefits from people hanging out with people).
I sure am lonely, and I'm very happily married, friends, family. I just assume that's how it is. Not a problem.

Not really, I'm for the most part a private person! The one I truly love is very aware of my feelings and there are no doubts in her mind or soul!
Everyone else can guess all they want, I'm secure with my life!

My desire to share what I love with others is tempered by my understanding that they may not want it.

It's not, IMO, a very loving thing to "share" something I love with someone who does not want it.

I know, I know, it's nearly impossible to think that ANYONE wouldn't love chocolate mousse, but it's true...and it's not very loving to insist that those folks eat it, or try to make them feel bad about not wanting it.

Not everyone will accept your love and good intentions. We try to show love toward everyone, but it isn't always possible. It saddens us when people reject our love, but we continue to share our love because there are countless others who will accept it.
