Do you not believe the concept of good and evil varies among individuals as well as societies? Usually, good is something that you are attracted to and evil isthe opposite in that nature. Imperialism is a great example. Imperialism was obviously good for imperialists because it encouraged economic development, increased nationalism, and enabled them in acquiring new territories. It was obiously bad for the conquered because of the genocide and parasitic effect it had on their societies. Humans have the fundamental ideas of what good or evil is but there is nothing good or evil common to all. In that sense, what is good should be good to everyone as a whole(humankind) yet, the same thing one suposes is evil, is good to another. This indifference grants the same thing as both good and evil. In my opinion, religions are not exempt. Why do you believe your version or opinion of good and evil is correct?

World perspective... Anything that negatively affects another is considered bad, and anything that benefits anyone without the negatives is good.

Individual perspective... anything that benefits individual or others individual cares for, without regrets is good. Bad is anything to the contrary.

Personal persepective... the goodness God has instilled through Jesus. Bad is anything that God has said is bad.

No, i've got not got faith in evil. particular, morality is defined by society, and on a sub scale by a guy or woman's upbringing. Many socieies previous and recent have seen issues which incorporate homicide, rape, attack, as completely regularly occurring on a daily basis activities of existence. a guy or woman becoming up in such an atmosphere does not be conscious of a different. it fairly is the case immediately with babies being indoctrinated to radical Islam. Do i think of those everybody is evil? No, if we've been born into the same brainwashing atmosphere we would be doing the same issues. in spite of the undeniable fact that even in a society with a sturdy ethical code, the main serious portion of a guy or woman's outlook on existence is who controls their on a daily basis existence. maximum criminals in the criminal justice equipment have been raised in terrible, generally abusive situations. back, while raised with fairly no place fashions in such situations, maximum may be making the same judgements.

I encourage you to read the Book of Genesis in the Bible, in a simple easy to understand version such as the New Living Translation for the answer to your question.

Yes. Man sees things (5 criteria fairly easily; who, what, when, where, how) but God sees 6 criteria and focuses on the 6th (why). ( 1 Samuel 16:7).
