Do we just except whatever we are told by our officials and the Media about other cultures or what? Do we really no anything about who we call our enemies. Who are the people who control the decemination of information in America by name?

Yes. Sadly, it takes a lot of effort to cut through all the crap out there. People don't have time. Also, our educational system needs work. People don't have enough critical thinking skill to question what they are told and connect the dots.

Even educated people lack the time to hunt down the sources and review every claim. I mean, it comes down to having reliable journalism. We probably need to re-evaluate our system of journalism in America. We don't really have a free press anymore. The air is locked down by few corporations, and so we are left with little balance in information. It's the corporate perspective, then mom and pop from the little AM shed, and nothing in between.

Yes we are both arrogant and ignorant. We are the fattest, laziest, and the stupidest nation on the face of this Earth, literally.

We also have the lowest political activity among the public and the lowest voter turnout even in the biggest elections including the Presidential elections.

We don't care about what is true or real. We only accept what Washington tells us and what we see on TV. We are not smart enough to make our own decisions.

I mean come on, who has time to find why the world is having a world war three when there is American Idol and The Simpsons on TV. I am always watching MTV and HBO. I am spending billions on the super bowl. I don't have time to think about the issues to vote for.

America is no different from the other nations in that it has people on all ends of the spectrum as far as knowledge and understanding of different nations and cultures goes. I have many fine American friends who are extremely gifted and intelligent, and some who I'd rather not claim to know.

The political savvy of Americans can best be described by watching a documentary film by Aaron Russo called "America: Freedom to Fascism" Most of us don't have a clue what dangers we face and from whom.

Yes, many people are duped by the liberal media into believing that European socialism is superior to American capitalism. The media will also tries to make people believe that Islam is a religion of peace.

Who are the people who control the media? Who is George Soros? Who is John Galt?

Don't think they are.
Just blunders and slip-ups with human errors in the creation of living human kind into mankind as the Son of God in planet of apes.
Just at self loss tou our creator's universal gifts of life vital for their own survival and advancement of living human kind in planet of apes.
What went wrong out there unconciously they were self exposing it.
Thanks to little horror chucky screaming and running out from schools were able to trace thier losses in planet of apes.
Am so sorry for the little ones living in misery out there.
Kick the dirty old men on their butts to shake and wake them up on what went wrong out there so they can try to correct it for the good of mankind in planet of apes.
Think they working on it already.

1 - No and yes.

2 - To some extent.

3 - Yes, we know that they wish us harm and hope for a world VERY different than the one we hope for (e.g., you don't see THEM putting billions into AIDS prevention, do you?).

4 - WAY too many to even begin to list here.

You're awfully negative and a bit paranoid, too. You know this, right?
