i always wear my hair down and its plain and borring. my hair is like 10 inches below my shoulder and its thick. i want easy to do hairstyles that don't take up much time. i have long, straight, boring hair too. but i dont have time to do hairstyles everyday so i asked my stylist to cut my hair into long layers. it's perfect for an easy hairstyle that only requires a blow dryer to straighten if needed and a large curling iron to bump the ends. once that's done you can comb and fluff it to bring out the layers which creates the style. another easy way to style it with the layers is by wrapping it every night so you just have to comb it down without putting any heat on it in the morning. good luck!

Your hair sounds like it's thick and heavy like my friend's hair. But then she got her hair cut a bit past her shoulders as the longest layer then lots of choppy layers too, it looked soo gorgeous!
And about those two links, you would need to have your hair thinned to make it lighter to get better waves in your locks! :)
