A tea party of course.... you could make it a "Mommy and Me Tea". Invite all her little friends and their moms for a tea party. Have a tea set at each table setting, play pass teh teapot, sing "I'm a little teapot", serve tea sandwiches and cookies, and of course have everyone all dressed in their tea best.
I have two girls... we all love the girly stuff!

You should definately have a fancey tea party. She could invite some of her closest friends, and if they don't like tea, have something on the sideline like hot chocolate...or maybe even water. When I was that age I loved to dress up and feel proper. My best friend had a party like that. We all got cute pressents wrapped the exact same way.

If it is just girls a princess party would be fun. If you are going to have boys as well then a Princesses and pirates party. Have a castle for a cake (see Jane Asher's Party cake book) . Play soon games, like 'There was a princess long ago' as well as pass the parcel. Also do cake or biscuit decorating with lots of pink stars and sprinkles. If you have pirates as well have a treasure Hunt and have suitable stuff for them to decorate their cakes.

Fancy dress party like a Tea party is not advisable in this kind of climate., so cold. unless you are going to set it up inside your house. Most clothes like princesses are made of very thin/satin/silk textiles. Mommies is worries of having colds afterwards so set it up to warm cozy place. My daughter love princesses party that is gonna be fun.

I don't know if your daughter likes princesses, but you could do a princess party. Everyone could come dresses as their favorite princess. You could also play the dress up game "pretty, pretty princess". You could have a tea party like the other's suggested, just do it princess style.

okay i see every one has pretty much said princess or tea party so ill try and give you some different ideas or something you could do @ the party :)
You could get the game pretty pretty princess and play it (everyone gets to wear jewlery so no one feels left out) And you could go to the dollar store and get lil goodies to give away like princess pencils and erasers or they have bubble wands and stuff. and its cheap :)
or you could go to a roller rink or bowling alley for lil kids and throw a party there if you dont have room for all the lil kids in your house and still do a theme with a cake and goodie bags :)

You can do a dress up tea party. All the girls can dress up and you can dress up a table for them. Unless of course you are inviting boys, then I don't think that will work out too well.

I like the mommy and me tea party idea, only I'd have apple juice available for those who don't like tea. And maybe get someone to paint the girls nails.
