Evolution, the fossil record, no evidence of a worldwide flood, the fact that hares do not chew the cud, the fact that the world was not created in 7 days 10,000 years ago, the fact that we are not special and unique in the universe, that we are on an insignificant planet, halfway through an insignificant solar system, stuck in a very ordinary position in the spiral arm of an average sized insignificant galaxy.

There is no solid evidence to show the Bible is true. That's the thing to be looking for.
Much of what is in the Bible is wrong, so in that sense alone it is not true or the truth.

The same solid evidence that proves that "The Catcher in the Rye" isn't true...

Why would it need evidence to prove it wasn't true? The Bible makes wild assertions about the existence and interaction with humans of a superhuman being. Would one not assume it was fiction unless proven true?

For one thing, the Earth is not a flat slab surrounded by water and covered by a large dome that holds back more water in the sky. You can prove this for yourself by visiting the house of someone with satellite TV and turning on the television. The simple fact that you get a picture proves that a satellite is in orbit and the Bible is mythology.

well, lets start the beginning. The world was clearly, empiracally, not created and populated in 7 days. Therefore, the Bible is not true. Dont even need to go any further.

It is true. If you don't beleive me then I will not be offended. Just what I beleive. I hope you will realize that the bible is right too someday. Another question: How do you prove that science is right: We were originally monkeys? That makes perfect sense....

Not just the Bible, all epics are man tailored - be it any religion. You will be amazed to observe how contradictory the content of these epics can be. When you are blinded by 'faith', your mind refuses to see and accept these contradictions and makes a constant edeavour to keep you loyal to the epic.

This is why we have different religions and their different Gods. For Muslims, Allah is the God and they can not consider Jesus their God. For Christians, Jesus is the God and they can not consider Allah their God, all thanks to their own epics. Hence, these epics are nothing but a way of proving each other's Gods wrong ! And we are talking about not just Islam and Christianity, we are talking about hundreds of religions and their epics, and their Gods.

If our perception of God was ever correct, there wouldn't have been this chaos of epics. The God wouldn't have appeared differently for different religions and given them different epics for he would have considered the whole mankind as ONE.

There is no solid evidence to prove vampires, zombies, and aliens dont exist either. I assume you believe in these too, since you cant disprove them!

True = your philosophy, your ideas, thoughts and summations of information given.
Fact = indifferent to your thoughts, it simply is.

bible may or may not be true according to how u believe, but it certainly isnt factual in it's entirety
