so i knew this guy from the seventh grade and we were good frends i liked him and stuff but he had a gf so we were jus frends i moved away but we keep in touch the other day i saw him and we hung out and he kissed me and said that he loved me i love him too but i have to question if its real or not?

What you are feeling is nice but it really isn't love yet. Love takes time to grow from within. You may both like to spend time with each other and have a good time when together but is there more than that? It probably wasn't appropriate for him to say that he loves you right away without exploring your friendship and relationship in other ways. Have you been through any difficulties together? Have you shared anything other than hanging out and making out? I think you need to love yourself and know what kind of person you are looking for before you fall in love. Good luck.

Sometimes that rush of emotion you feel when you really like someone feels like love. Real love takes time though, beginnings are always fun and powerful, lasting love is different and deep. The only way to really know if it's real is to give it some time.

No, its not that now and forever love that means marriage and commitment and children, its more of an I feel good and I like you very much, and isn't life great right now at this moment kind of love which is all you really want right now anyway.

If you just saw eachother the other day and hung out.. HE DOESNT LOVE YOU. Love takes time to grow, it doesnt just manifest over the period of one day. Beware the guy who says he loves you so fast... He is after something other than your heart.

No, it probably isn't true. What do you think he is telling his gf? I'm sure he tells her that he loves her too. He loves you and he loves her - one or both of those statements are false. Move on.

I'd sure like to know how old you both are, but to answer your question, I'd say he's in "Lust", which can turn into love, eventually. You can't love someone if you don't know them. You two have been apart. How well does he really know you or you him?
