get a deep conditioner and put it on at least once a week. Products that you get at hair salons are better than other products at pharmacies. YOu could also go to a beauty store. Deep condition once a week or as directed in the bottle. Another option is to find a Hair Academy (where they teach to become a hair stylist) and they do everything for a lower price because its the students working on your hair (they are supervised so dont be afraid). In my town they have one and its only $8 for a deep conditioning treatment. It should repair your hair soon.

Try V05 hot oil treatments once a week. Also there are home remedies such as Mayonnaise that really help with the moisture issue. If you wash your hair every day try switching to every 2 days or longer if you can bare it. Washing dry hair everyday strips the scalp of its natural oils so you might want to try that. There's also a "cholesterol" deep conditiiong cream that you can get at beauty supply stores. It's a yellowy thick cream that works wonders.

You need to do a conditioning treatment. Biolage by matrix makes some really good ones. They come in packs of 5. The directions say to leave on 3 to 5 minutes but I sleep in them! The next moring I have to wash it to get it out because it drys in but it works great!

Hot oil treatments are great to smooth your hair but will not condition your hair because water and oil do not mix.

Pop a good dollop of olive oil in a cup, boil the kettle and put some water in a bowl. Put the cup in the bowl so the oil warms through (be careful it doesn't get too hot). lash it all over you hair wrap your head in a towel. Watch some crap telly for half an hour and wash it out. Bingo! Tomorrow buy some Tigi Bed Head After Party, wonderful stuff and I couldn't live without it! lol

Use the Aussie Miracle products. I depend on them for my hair, damaging it through straightening. A good shampoo and conditioner in addition is the L'Oreal Elvive cashmere touch in the pink bottle. That'll help you on the way to sleek and silky! x

The only thing that works for my dry hair is to either not wash it, or use an african american hair product. I use a soft sheen carson bottle of various oils. Whenever i want my hair down or not dry, i just put that in, it will work every single time.

you need a hot oil treatment or try a henna conditioning treatment.

you can buy diy ones in supermarkets really cheaply or go to a salon and pay a bit more but you know it will look good after.

if you do an oil treatment make sure you shampoo your hair twice after wards so you get alll the oil out

Hey girl,
First check out your diet. Rich foods in monosaturated fats help: nuts, olive oil, etc. Make sure you are getting enough water, minerals, and vitamins.

Quick fix: I use olive oil. 10 mintues before I shower I put the olive oil in my hair and do my nails or my brows. After I shampoo it out and condition it, it feels much better.

Dont wash it everyday. you must train your hair. What I find helps is once i wash it, the next day i will put it up, and the third day i will wet it and blow dry it out again. If it is really greasy, then i will do another pony tail day. Hats are awesome too.

Hope some of this helps,
Lou Lou

First, your diet has a lot to do with your hair. In winter, when the air is dry and the heat is on all the time, drink plenty of water, eat lots of fruits and vegetables. Eat enough protein, vitamin supplements can help. You can find intensive treatments at your local drug store. I always use them with heat. Good luck!
