Condering I have a friend that does exactly this quite often. Saying that God and Jesus talk to him in his dreams, and tell him that he is to be their personal paladin on this planet, and he'll choose between who goes where when the 2nd coming happens.
I'd just look at them and go "uh-huh, right." I would let them tell their story, but I wouldn't be interested in it. So it'd be sort of a mix between A and B. I'll listen because I probably need a good laugh, but not because I'm interested.
