in my last question many people claimed that angels still do visit us.

if they do, they stopped having sex with us or something? how come there are no nephilim around today?

the bible says that angels can be seen, that they are in form at least similar to human, they arent little invisible beings on our shoulders to guard us.

Hi chippy, not to sound like a stalker, but id love to meet you someday. dont ask why, Bria just thinks youre a cool fellow. Oh Bria is married, dont want to meet you for a date, just a hello and a handshake and Bria is on her way.
The concept of humans with wings aka angels is a fascinating one. Even before the bible, there are Egyptian statues of supposed Gods and Goddesses with wings, like Ma'at and Isis for example.

Why are people answering whether or not angels have sex? I mean if they arent angels, why answer such a question? What makes humans think they are the experts of things such as this?

A Nephilium is nothing more than a half angel, half human, more like a potential angel or a mystical human. Bria has met people who claim to be dragons, dryads and elves, why not Nephilium as well?

In being sure of my sanity and my spirituality I confess I have seen both angel and demon. The circumstances of each being totally separate. I am inclined to conclude the reason for each (sighting) to be purposeful and with motive.
Since your question is angel specific I will refer to my contact with the angel in an attempt to answer your question. I believe they can take on an appearance that can calm us or literally cause death. The angel had the appearance of a man. He resembled "Col. Sanders" of KFC fame.Thankfully this one choose one I could trust. (I don't intend for this to sound like the Sta-Puff marshmallow man in Ghostbusters) The angel's mission, as it were was to help me. A God send? Yes! Was I in mortal danger ? No. But it increased my faith, cemented my belief, and answered someone else's prayer.
This is where I try to answer your question. I think God use angels for many purposes. I believe they are constantly battling againest fallen angels and demons. I believe they can protect us and help us, in mighty, and in insignificant ways.
Do angels still "fall from grace"? I'm not there and really can't say but I keep and open mind. Probably!
The nephilim, which most theologians believe are the offspring of "fallen" angels are believed to be the giants of the earth. This site - http://www.bibleprobe.com/nephilim.htm has a photo of a giant human leg bone. The person would have been 14 to 16 feet tall. Since we aren't seeing a lot of "giants" or "nephilim" I start to deduce that, the"fallen" angels may be dying or losing their power. I also think God may have changed the rules and taken away their ability to reproduce. Maybe they got a sort of "angel HIV", who knows.
I hope this helps. I have to mention that though the Bible does say angels can be seen they can also be invisable! Look up the story of Balaam's mule. The mule could see the angel but Balaam could not. Check out the story of Lot. The angels visiting him left his home and walked through the middle of the crowd without the crowd seeing them. By the way the thing about angels being on your shoulder is a misconception! It's should be over your shoulder.

Why don't you look over to the right ...right now!

If you looked you have faith, even if you felt a little creepy...you have faith. They are with us.

Angels are many things. In fact, it's my favorite study subject.

Nephilim were fallen angels. They took shape and sinned. Angels are supposed to be sexless (meaning they can't have sex) and have no desire to have sex. The Nephilim were not heavenly angels, they were trying to tempt man away from God.

The look of an angel depends on who sees them. A few examples that I've either seen or read about.

1. A little boy called them "stained glass people" because they looked to him like the angels in the church windows.

2. One lady saw an angel in the form of a black man who helped her and vanished in the segregated south.

3. I have always seen my guardian angel as a man in flannels and jeans.

4. One girl described them as shafts of light.

5. One couple was led out of some woods by a man who gave them a scripture before vanishing.

6. A group on a religious trip noticed a man following them. When they showed his picture around the church, one girl exclaimed that the man looked like St. Michael. The man was later spotted in a store not far from the parish, givign a cryptic message to a priest before vanishing.

The flood destroyed the last of the nephilim, which is why there are none today. If you notice the verse in Genesis states that there were also giants in the days before the flood and also after. Angels are pure energy according to some ppl. June 5th is Watcher's Night. It is the night that the angels came down to have sex with human women.

In the Book of Enoch, the punishment of the watchers is listed, they're locked up and not happy. This was a lesson to the angelic relm, so they've figured out NOT to have sex with human women and NOT to make anymore of those nuisance nephilim. Unlike humans, angles learn from their mistakes.

The verse the mentions nephilim is a very debated. The "Sons of God" are likely not angels and refers to a royal class or godly line of Seth. Remember, rulers in those days would call themselves "sons of the gods" much like Roman rulers did. It is a Biblical footnote that cannot be used to create doctrine regarding angels. While the Bible does call angels “sons of God” the notation is also used for man. And since angles are neuter they would have been involved in genetic manipulation not sex with women. This is all speculation and cannot be proven one way or another with the information we have.

I've always thought that the "nephilim" were prophets, but the word is slightly off.

The root word "napha" means to fall. Plural (napha-lim), it would refer to those who are fallen, and is probably just referring to the cursed ones descended from Cain.

(In order for us to have a genealogy of both the descendants of Cain and the descendants of Seth, they had to have been in contact with each other. Cain didn't just go into the land of Nod, he seems to have gone into the Zagros Mountains, which is east of where Eden was.)

an angel can be visible or invisible, whatever the need. But beware because the Bible says even satan can present himself as an angel of light. Angels having sex are fallen angels and are evil.

Simple. According to the book of 2 Peter 2:24, the fallen angels who were involved with the women are being held in chains until the day of judgement. They are no longer free to continue that action.
