I think he is talking about his Ascension. He is talking about the fact that he will not be on the Earth any more, but Christians will be able to "see" him by faith, and through faith gain Eternal Life.

He also mentions in the chapter a Comforter, the Holy Spirit, which would "bring all things to your remembrance whatsoever I have said unto you." This happens in Acts 2, which occurs after the Ascension.

This is when Jesus is about to go up. So the world will not see Him anymore. But ye see me, because he left us the Holy Spirit. And because God lives in us, we shall live also.

Jesus is discussing his impending death, burial and Resurrection, and the fact that He will request the Holy Spirit to be sent to abide with all His followers. Because Jesus lives His followers will live too.

Jesus would come to the disciples, but not with the same kind of presence they experienced at the moment. The disciples would see Him in a spiritual sense.
