Nope. It is just one of those coincidences where the English used to translate a Hebrew name and the English word used to translate a Hindu or Buddhist name happen to sound similar to each other. Neither the word "adam' or the word "atman" are the original names of either "person". (Actually one is a person and the other a "force"). They have gone through several languages to come into the English with those sounds.

No. Adam was allegedly a man while atman is a Hindu term for the karma that creates a human soul.
