Of course. Why wouldn't he? A beer is a beer.
And to the guy who said a real priest wouldn't consecrate a beer.... You, sir, need a history lesson. Not only is it acceptable in Christianity to drink beer (remember: The wedding at Canaa wasn't a party until Jesus brought the booze :-P ), but monks in particular have made some of the best beer in history. Monks had particular influence in Belgium, where they created some of the most interesting styles using open fermentation. Look up the style of beer called "Abbey ale".

A real priest would not attempt to consecrate beer. You are not a priest, nor have you "priestly powers."

You are not a priest and you do not have priestly powers. You do not understand the act of consecration because it is not the priest who consecrates the bread and wine at mass, it is Jesus himself who does this. In the Holy Mass, the priest at the altar stands "in persona Christi" who is the high priest and only He can consecrate the bread and wine into His very own body, blood, soul and divinity.
